Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football who played for the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran playing on the field. One of America's top tight ends and holds the NFL record for having the highest number of receiving yards of any tight end. Gonzalez is also ranked as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently employed at the studio of FOX. Gonzalez was an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF - FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame hour show which airs before FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 AM ET every Sunday during NFL season.
Gonzalez, who had said to retire by the end of 2013, opted on the 15th of March to sign a two year, $14million contract to remain with the Falcons. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of receiving yards in his final season.
